The Skinny: In 1989, actress Jessica Tandy finally took home an Oscar, for her role in the classic Driving Miss Daisy, as the ornery title character. Even now, nearly two decades after her death, Tandy remains the oldest female winner of an Academy Award and beloved for the role, which placed her opposite Morgan Freeman. Tandy and her actor husband, Hume Cronyn, once owned this Connecticut country estate together until her death. There's no telling how the place has changed in the intervening years, but the interiors certainly seem like something Miss Daisy would have approved of. Set on 4.58 acres, the estate includes a 4,000-square-foot, four-bedroom main house, and a pool with pool house. For those looking to relive Tandy's famous film, there's a detached three-car garage with apartment—perfect for the chauffeur.
