For the third straight year, the Presidio Trust has earned a Preservation Design Award from the California Preservation Foundation. On Saturday, the Trust was awarded the Preservation Design award for its innovative approach to historic preservation of the Presidio's historic Officers' Club. The rehab of the Presidio Landmark was also honored in the Preservation category. "It is a great honor to receive these awards from the California Preservation Foundation," said Craig Middleton, the Trust's executive director. "We take great pride in preserving the historic fabric and character of the Presidio and it is extremely gratifying when those efforts are recognized by an organization such as the CPF."
