Erin Fetherston is a young fashion designer with one of the most beloved new brands in recent years, and her whimsical home overlooking the Hudson River combines the romantic French finds from her previous life with modern choices indicative of her new station in New York.
The high ceilings and tall windows in the renovated Tribeca loft lend themselves well to both styles. Fetherston sticks to a pastel color palette and girly flourishes to create a space that is relaxing, but upon closer inspection you can always find something unusual in any vignette, from a stuffed sheep to plastic hand molds. It is this balance between pretty and interesting that makes all of Fetherston's work noteworthy, including her interior designs.
