Oy, vey: TMZ has learned that reality TV princesses Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian have filed for a patent to expand their multimillion-dollar empire (which currently includes clothes, handbags, shoes, belts, jewelry, hosiery, and sunglasses sold at Sears) into the home decor and housewares sphere. The line, called Kardashian Kollection Home, will include hand towels, bedding, flatware, photo frames, and—apparently—golf and football towels, window blinds, and beer steins. No word yet about release date or whether the collection will mimic the aesthetic of the unofficial family decorator, Jeff Andrews.

Missoni is launching a mass-market collection for Target next month, and people are freaking. Out. Target's keeping quiet on this one—we had to sign a fancy non-disclosure agreement at the press preview—but they peppered some of the stuff throughout a Vogue spread and they've just started releasing dribs and drabs of the line to a company Tumblr called All the Way Up Here. (The gist of this Tumblr is that a doll named "Marina" is covering the collab—let's not get into it.) Above: please find the four home products currently on view, as well as a cool bike and some luggage. Then head over to Racked National to do what our cousins over there do best: ogle at clothes.

Today Editor at Large runs an announcement about PetitNest, the relatively new line of kids' furniture from Tiffani Thiessen(aka Tiffani Amber Thiessen aka Valerie Malone aka Kelly Kapowski) and interior designer Lonni Paul. "Rather than worrying about whether you need to go all-pink or all-blue, pick a color you love and design the whole room around that. Then you can truly make it your own," said Thiessen in a statement, eschewing "mass-produced, generic, primary-colored furniture." All items within the PetitNest collection are certified by the Sustainable Furnishings Council. As for price points, the Noe Dresser (above left) costs $1,650; green Odette Glider, $1,390.

Introductions: After a Bit Too Much Scotch, Brooks Brothers Expands Home Line

Screen-shot-2011-02-03-at-9.19.37-AM.jpgAnd you thought it wasn't possible to do anything more with pinstripes! Oh, but how foolish you are. Thanks to Brooks Brothers, there will soon be lampshades in wool pinstripe suit fabric and pastel cotton oxford cloth. The brand has just expanded its current home accessories line to include tabletop, lampshades, and serving pieces. Fans of the Golden Fleece suit collection, for instance, can now enjoy a coordinating spoon and fork ($450) or chopsticks ($350). Totally reasonable! And to fete Brooks Brothers's partnership with the Audubon Society—which promotes "the protection and conservation of birds, other wildlife and the habitats that support them"—there's a set of porcelain plates, a decanter, and glasses, all adorned with birds. (How hipster!) Just don't tell that to the Golden Fleece pillow, which is stuffed with feathers.

Can't afford a Birkin? Perhaps Birkin scraps are more in your price range. French luxury-goods firm Hermès is now spinning discarded and defective leftovers found on the sewing room floor into furnishings and home/personal accessories—or the much cooler-sounding "unidentified poetic objects." "Petit h," as the collection is called—no room for pronunciation error the second time around!—was unveiled in Paris late last year; it's coming to NYC and Beverly Hills in October after stopping in Japan in May.
