Hawaiian Kauai Estate Green Coffee Beans - 3lbs

Hawaiian Kauai Estate Green Coffee Beans - 3lbsBest known for its aroma this is an everyday coffee that carries itself nicely. Light in body with a mild nutty finish. A great breakfast cup every day. Softer bean and doesn't like to be roasted beyond a light French roast or Full city but that's where it cups the nicest. The warm Pacific sun, rich volcanic earth, abundant mountain rain, and cool tradewinds of Kauai combine to create ideal conditions for growing great coffee. Only 16% of the Kauai Estate land is used for coffee production; more than half of the land is held in conservation. Kauai Estate Company employs environmentally friendly agricultural practices including total re-use of all processed by-products, water conservation, and no use of insecticides. They are also fortunate that their company owns two renewable hydroelectric generators on the island. One is located in Kalaheo and the other is in Wainiha Valley. They generate all of their own electricity, and even generate about 5% of electrical power for the utility company on the island of Kauai. 3lbs shipped in plastic bag with roasting information.

Jelly-Bean-cropped-3.jpgQuirky indeed, they're the creation of Eli Mechlovitz, in-house designer at GlassTileStore.com. And they do, actually, resemble jelly beans. Per the reps, Mechlovitz sought inspiration in the candy's "vibrant colors and fun qualities" to conceive the line of glass accent tiles. Terrific! [CurbedWire]
