If they like it, then they'd better put a "Z" on it! Which is exactly what listings-site Zillow has just done with their rental listings. Called Zestimates, the site's new feature is exactly that—Zillow's estimate of what a property should be renting for, taking into consideration public records and comparable homes for rent on Zillow. Use this handy tool to ensure that the landlord who insists you pay in cash and doesn't cosign the lease doesn't screw you out of $8 a month.

Yahoo And Zillow Partner On Real Estate | WebProNews

Yahoo said today that all of its real estate listings will now be powered by Zillow.

Zillow will also sell local advertising on both sites, and the 4 million listings on Zillow will appear on Yahoo Real Estate.

Yahoo-Zillow Real estate agents will be able to advertise locally on Yahoo Real Estate, and home buyers will have more access to listings on the site along with more photos.

"This partnership brings together the scale of Yahoo’s audience with the depth of Zillow’s real estate listings," Greg Hintz, head of Yahoo Listings, said.

"No other real estate websites are better suited to bring such a vast offering to agents, brokers and advertisers.

The Yahoo and Zillow relationship began in 2006 when Yahoo Real Estate incorporated Zillow’s Zestimate home valuations.

By Jon Kolsky (WPN reader) - Thu, 02/03/2011 - 14:43 Will zillow still be a media web site?

Since 2007 zillow allows unfair and special treatment to a selected few, zillow has created a cyber bullying group to unfairly get rid of Real Estate Agents that did not fit the image zillow. I have absolute proof of this behavior happening to me, and I have emails from other agents this has happened to. My hope is for zillow to thrive, and stop allowing a few to have different standards inside of zillows protection.

thanks for any help
