We’re only three weeks into the competition on HGTV Design Star and we’ve already seen the 12 creative hopefuls re-vamp their NYC penthouse residence (a challenge we’re all too familiar with, minus the penthouse part), as well as transform a white 12x15 space using only restaurant supply items in the iconic “white box challenge”.
The first two episodes whittled the 12 designers down to 10 with the help of the star-powered panel of judges, including special guest Thom Felicia. This week expect power struggles to ensue as the contestants compete in their first homeowner team-challenge, giving old rooms a new lease on life. HGTV's Home By Novogratz stars Robert and Cortney Novogratz will join the judges to critique the competition.
