Today, The Wall Street Journal features the stunning Ohana House as their House of the Day. Situated on 24 lush acres overlooking The Big Island's breathtaking Kohala Coast, this property is quite scenic and will definitely please any nature lover. The residence, created as the property's guest house and originally supposed "to be followed by the construction of the main house," was designed by James Cutler and measures in at 2,600-square-feet. The two-bedroom abode, complete with a beautiful swimming pool and "bamboo walkway," takes a contemporary spin on classic Hawaii, and offers a meticulous attention to detail throughout. So, what do I think? Well, the estate is just spectacular. And the price, $5.3M, seems fair, considering the amount of land included.
