There's a family of falcons that live atop San Jose's City Hall. Three of the four chicks have just hatched, and Mayor Chuck Reed announced yesterday the annual falcon naming contest for San Jose kids. Judges will pick the names based on creativity, quality of the essays or artwork, and how the names reflect the lifestyle of the falcons. [NBC Bay Area]
