Yesterday it was a couch shaped like a cat; today it's an armchair shaped like a slithering, slimy octopus. The first in the Animal Chairs collection by designer Maximo Riera, the tentacular perch aims to "create a stronger link between the spectator, the piece, and the surrounding space." Well, all righty then. Expect to see a lion, a walrus, and a whale, among others, as the series grows. Can't wait!
