Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Washington, D.C.
Price: $6,995,000
The Skinny: The late Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy was never going to run out of desk space in this voluminous mansion. The grand white house is located in the premier District neighborhood of Kalorama (Georgetown be damned!). In this neighborhood of stately historic homes and lush lots, the grand senatorial estate feels right at home. The epitome of a decked-out urban dwelling—with six-bedrooms and six-baths spread over almost 9,000 square feet—this must have been the perfect D.C. hideaway for a Beltway heavyweight. But then there's the issue of price. The house has been on the market since last January, and endured a million-dollar price cut. Is that enough to get a deal done, or will this one be hung up in committee waiting for another chop?
· 2416 Tracy Place NW [Sotheby's]
